When we started Inery, our goal was simple: give people better control over their data. And as the world around us keeps changing, so do the needs of our community. That’s why we want to share what’s coming next. Not just as a list of features, but as a story of where we’re heading together.
Why an Update?
Data doesn't stand still. And neither do we. You’ve asked for easier ways to work with Inery, for tools that feel natural, and for systems that can handle more complex needs without becoming complicated.
We've been listening. We see the messages, we see the comments. There are still some things that we can’t exactly share (related to the mainnet), but don’t worry. You’ll know all about it when it’s time. All in all, in this roadmap, the features we’re building reflect what you've asked for: easier ways to work, smarter tools, and seamless integration.
What's on the Horizon for Inery?
1. Bringing Pieces Together – Inery DLT Clusters
Imagine if you could connect multiple independent networks into one bigger system. Actually, you don’t need to imagine it. It’s what Inery DLT Clusters will do. It’s about making different parts of Inery work together smoothly, like a well-coordinated team. Whether you’re running an enterprise setup or building a decentralized application, this means more flexibility and smoother connections.
2. Speak the Language of Your Data – Inery JS QL
Managing data shouldn’t require a PhD in computer science. Yet, for many people, interacting with decentralized databases can feel complicated and unintuitive, especially if you’re not deeply technical. This is exactly what Inery JS QL aims to change.
Inery JS QL is designed to make querying and interacting with your data as simple and natural as possible. Instead of writing complex code or struggling with complicated command structures, users can interact with their data using clear, structured requests, in a way that feels more like having a conversation with the system than issuing commands.
Whether you’re a developer building an application or someone managing data for your organization, Inery JS QL removes unnecessary layers of complexity. It allows you to fetch, update, and manage data in a way that aligns with how you actually think about your information, not how a machine expects you to phrase it.
All of this makes working with Inery faster, more intuitive, and more accessible, even for those without a deep technical background. In other words, you focus on what you want to do with your data, and Inery JS QL handles the process of making that happen smoothly.
This kind of simplicity to decentralized data management, Inery JS QL helps bridge the gap between technical potential and real-world usability, so that more people can take advantage of secure, decentralized solutions without having to "figure it all out" first.
3. More Tools, Less Effort – Inery DLT Query Plugin
Ever wish you could plug into Inery and just get what you need? With the Query Plugin, that’s exactly the idea. Instead of building everything from scratch, you’ll be able to connect and query data directly, saving time and energy.
4. Smarter Ways to Handle Data – IneryDB GUI AI Plugin
Handling large chunks of data can be overwhelming. Our upcoming AI Plugin for IneryDB GUI is designed to give a helping hand: suggesting actions, automating repetitive tasks, and making sense of your data faster. Think of it as a tool that understands what you’re trying to do, and helps you get there.
5. Bridging Old and New – IneryDB GUI Import/Export for Centralized Databases
Not everyone starts fresh. Many of you are working with old databases and systems. This new feature will let you bring your existing data into Inery, or export it when needed. So if you’ve been thinking, "how do I move my existing work to Inery?", we’ve got you covered.
What Does This Mean for You?
More than anything, these updates are about making Inery work for real people, real businesses, and real use cases. Whether you’re a developer, a company, business, enterprise, or just someone curious about new ways to manage data, we’re building these tools so you can spend less time figuring out technology and more time doing what you care about.
Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thank you for being part of the Inery community.
